Melina [antagonist]

The color of the antagonist is red. This picture is a great representation of the antagonist because in the picture of the antagonist many of these colors are represented. The shirt on the antagonist is nearly the same color of the sky in this picture while the red is nearly the same color as the skirt on the antagonist. The black of the trees in this picture are a good representation of the black background in which this character is placed. Melina’s red colors include value because if you were to put her colors on a color wheel, you would see her colors moving towards black the darker they got.

This is a good representation of Melina because in her picture, all of the lighting is coming from behind or beside her to create a more shadowy kind of lighting on her face. The intent was to create mystery and this picture accurately shows that. Although you cannot see this persons face and you can see Melina’s, Melina still has a kind of mystery about her thanks to the dimly lit city behind her. The mood that this sort of lighting creates is a sinister, evil mood. The perfect kind of lighting that you would see for an evil character or the antagonist.

This is a picture of a diamond shaped blimp in the sky. This accurately describes Melina because as you get close to the picture you can see that the picture is very blurry. Thus creating the idea of mystery. This picture could now be anything because of the blurriness and essentially, anytime you see Melina flying through they air, she too could be anything. You also see this diamond shape in the air which is accurate, again, for Melina because she has the ability to fly. This could very well be what a person would see if they saw Melina flying through the air.

Elena (protagonist)

The color of the protagonist (Elena) is blue. This picture shows the may different hues that you have with the color blue. Down towards the bottom of the picture you see more turquois colors which is the color of the protagonist’s shirt. As you go up on the picture, you get more deep and dark blues which goes along with the protagonist’s pants. As this picture accurately shows and as the picture of the character shows, saturation is included. The closer you get to the bottom of this picture, the whiter it gets which shows saturation.

This photo accurately descirbes the light of Elena. In Elena’s photo, all the light is coming from above her which creates more of a darker color, or shadows, on the sides. With a more direct light on her face and body, you receive a clearer image of her face. With this clearer image, you can see the innocent features and smile of Elena. This lighting also creates a brighter mood because of how much of the background you can see. Along with that, that background is very light, contributing to the innocence of the picture.

This picture very accurately describes the shape and persona of Elena. Here, you see a diamond shape in the sky and that diamond is very bright which attends to the persona that we see for Elena. She is supposed to be the view of light and good and this picture accurately shows that along with incorporating the shape that Elena is. Along with that, the light is mostly on the diamond shape creating different shadows on the sides of the picture and the ground. This also is seen in the picture of Elena.
